First Annual Guns N' Hoses Fundraiser Hockey Game

Join us for an unforgettable evening of hockey, community spirit, and goodwill at the First Annual Guns N’ Hoses Fundraiser Hockey Game set to take place on March 6^th at Hero Arena inside the Mountain America Center. This will be an exhilarating, family-friendly event benefiting two great causes. Youth from across the region will hit the ice wearing Police vs Fire Department jerseys representing that longstanding rivalry. Together, we can score big for our youth and our local heroes!

The event will benefit the Idaho Falls Youth Hockey Association (IFYHA) and the Greater Idaho Falls Police Foundation (GIFPF). Both organizations play a vital role in supporting our community and its youth.

IFYHA: The IFYHA Varsity team is excited to announce that they have been selected to represent the state of Idaho at the USA Hockey-Chipotle National Championship in West Chester, PA! Funds raised will go directly towards covering fees associated with taking the team to Nationals this year and in the future. IFYHA provides youth athletes in eastern Idaho with opportunities to learn and excel in the sport of hockey. By fostering teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship, they empower kids to thrive both on and off the ice. The High School Varsity team has approached this season with a commitment to earning a spot at Nationals through countless practices and weekend tournaments.

GIFPF: The GIFPF supports our local police force by providing resources for training, equipment, and community outreach. The GIFPF is an independent, citizen-run, nonprofit established to help our police receive the tools and training they need to do their best work. They are committed to making southeast Idaho a safer place to live, work, and play. Their dedication to public safety is commendable, and local law.
