About The Event
About Ole 60: Made in Hancock County, Kentucky, Ole 60 is not your father’s country band. Caught in the crosshairs of indie rock sonics, folk songwriting, and country sensibilities, the six-piece from Hawesville shot to notoriety in 2024 with “smoke & a light,” topping Spotify’s U.S. Viral Top 50 chart with the on-fire single and the Apple Music Country Albums chart with their debut EP, three twenty four, surpassing genre titans Zach Bryan and Morgan Wallen in the process. They did it again with sophomore EP Songs About You and breakout hit, “Thoughts of You,” topping TikTok’s all-genre Viral 50 Music chart.
Heavily influenced by Smashing Pumpkins, Metallica, Radiohead, John Prine, and Nicholas Jamerson, with over 700 million global career streams, the band delivers with “solid musicianship, a willingness to experiment with sounds from psychedelic-tinged rock to more stripped-down fare, and a penchant for detailed storytelling” (Billboard). Headlining nationwide now, the boys from Kentucky just released their debut album, Smokestack Town, and surprise follow-up single, “Can’t Take It With You.”
About Kolton Moore & the Clever Few: Kolton Moore & The Clever Few’s steady rise from Texas’ best-kept secret to national headliner status didn’t come easy. For years, the band played 250 shows annually, sharpening their mix of American rock & roll, blue-collar storytelling, and Texas-sized country hooks. That sound — raw, real, and rooted in the shared instincts of four longtime friends — reaches a new peak with their sixth album, A Place That I Call Home, out September 26. Tracked in Memphis with Grammy-winning producer Matt Ross-Spang, it’s the sound of a veteran band reflecting on the long path that’s brought them from past to present, from wild teenage nights to mental health journeys to the joys of fatherhood. They veer between amplified arrangements and scaled-back simplicity, showcasing the versatility that’s earned the band high-profile placements on shows like Yellowstone and American Idol. With A Place That I Call Home, Kolton Moore & The Clever Few don’t just stake their claim as road-runninglifers, joining the ranks o f grassroots heroes like Lucero and Drive-By Truckers. They also plant their flag in the sand, building their home on the borderlines of sharp songwriting and a sound of their own making.
About Cigarettes @ Sunset: Cigarettes @ Sunset are carving out a new sound of their own, proudly calling it Possum Rock — a raw and soulful blend of Americana, Indie, Appalachian Folk, and Rock. Appalachian raised and hailing from Boone, North Carolina, the five-piece band channels the rugged beauty and
resilience of their mountain roots into every performance. Frontman Garrett Dellinger (rhythm guitar, lead vocals), alongside Wells Whitman (bass, backing vocals), Ethan Moore (drums), Sarah Vann (violin, vocals), and Ryland Bagbey (lead guitar), craft a sound that feels both familiar and entirely new, weaving fiddle runs, gritty guitar tones, and heartfelt lyricism into something that defies genre lines. Their hometown of Boone was deeply impacted by Hurricane Helene in 2024, a moment that reshaped the band’s perspective and underscored their commitment to making music that connects and endures. With Possum Rock, Cigarettes @ Sunset carry the spirit of Appalachia forward while pushing boundaries of what modern roots-driven rock can be. Whether on stage or on record, the band delivers an unfiltered sound built for sweaty venues, open fields, and anyone searching for something real.
